2007 marks another good year for San Antonio thanks to the help of our partners and the members’ support of the Economic Development Foundation (EDF). In 2007, 18 companies were located by EDF, bringing 4,525 jobs into the local economy.

The companies located in 2007 represent a diverse group of office and high tech operations, manufacturers, warehouse and distribution, and other industries. Companies announcing significant new or expanded operations in San Antonio during 2007 include Accenture with 650 jobs, Maxim Integrated Products with 300 jobs and Microsoft Corp. with 100 jobs. The EDF was also a key player on the team that secured the Rackspace Managed Hosting campus, including thousands of high-tech jobs, for the City of Windcrest and San Antonio.
